new image for the vintage poster..I think it will be washed out by the other elements, and digital colouring will look dodgy..(as you can see)

I think I will colour it by hand then rescan it.

if i do use the new image I'd probably have to change the composition again so that it holds it's own

Still not quite working for me for some reason, but here are both versions..I think I prefer the brown, It would probably go better with the store interior anyway.

Architectural poster: promotes the trends like studding and sculptural style jewelery and bags etc.

This one is a challenge for me as I want to use pencil to draw the objects to keep it 'steely' and edgy looking, but I need to use colour so that it works with the other posters. The model needs to be a bit edgy looking. To save time I have to tried to work out poses and backgrounds first. I don't know what colour scheme to go with, it needs to be seasonal, but go with the bright pink logo....??

Maybe a bit bright and gaudy?! The figure on this one will change too...so that there is a bit more body, she should probably be a bit happier too as accessorize is a fun brand

Mock-ups for first poster: knitwear.

Final image may include figure with scarf and hat, but in terms of layout and features I'm quite happy with the look. I will also change the bunting to something more wintery. Not sure about how to apply the type though...? I don't think it works at the moment.

My negotiated project is about the role illustration can play in traditional retail environments, so mainly looking at work in store (not online). The work might be used at point of sale, or it might promote a range, product or trend. The general aim is to produce work that has a positive effect on the selling environment.

I'm going to try and do 3 small projects under this title, so that I can look at different aspects of the aim.

The first project is about producing visual material to be displayed instore at accessories brand 'ACCESSORIZE'

The Accessorize project will be more commercial, then the second project (maybe looking at installations in parchase) will be less commercial, to allow for and change of direction if needed.

For accessorize I want to produce 4 posters (to fit store format), and then maybe produce visuals for wall graphics, bags and tags etc.
